🐾 Real Wedding: Kanya, Skye & Archie at Lusty Glaze Beach, Cornwall A paws-itively perfect beach wedding at Lusty Glaze in Cornwall featuring three VIP pups O ur first wedding of the 2025 season was at the incredible Lusty Glaze Beach — and what a way to start! This amazing venue has it all… the views, the gorgeous staff, and a relaxed vibe, but with just the right amount of organisation and support — not just for the couple and their guests, but for us suppliers too. We honestly couldn’t ask for more. The day started with a walk down the 120-something steps to paradise… and on this particular morning (after a whole week of sunshine!), it decided to absolutely chuck it down! But even with the rain, I was buzzing to be kicking off the season. View from the top ! Rewind to the Wedding Fair… A year ago, I’d met Tony and Sarah at the Lusty Glaze Wedding Fair. Kanya (their gorgeous spaniel) was a rather soggy dog at the time after enjoying a splash in the water. She’s an energetic...

Why We Ask for an Hour to Meet and Greet Your Dogs on Your Wedding Day  (At Least One Hour Before the Ceremony) Your wedding day is one of the most important events in your life, and for many couples, their dogs are an essential part of the celebration. In this blog, we’ll explain why we request at least an hour to meet and greet your dog before the ceremony, and how this time helps ensure a stress-free and enjoyable experience for everyone. The Importance of a Calm and Relaxing Introduction for Your Dog Wedding mornings are often hectic and filled with last-minute preparations. While it’s exciting, this can be overwhelming for your dog. By requesting an hour before the ceremony, we aim to create a calm environment where your dog can settle in comfortably. Dogs, like humans, can get anxious in new and busy environments, and we want to make sure they don’t feel rushed or overwhelmed. Taking our time ensures they’re relaxed and ready for their big role in your wedding. You can...

Why We Are Not a Wedding Doggy Daycare Crèche! We often get asked if we can look after multiple dogs on the day of a wedding, as many guests plan to bring their furry friends along too! Here’s why we focus on caring for up to two small/medium dogs or 1 large breed per nanny! Our Purpose and Approach Wedding Day Dog Nanny was established with a clear purpose: to support the couple's dog on their special day. Our role encompasses helping the dog during the ceremony, assisting with ring-bearing duties, capturing stunning photos, and greeting guests. Before the ceremony, we help the dog acclimate to the new environment, which includes exposure to flowers, decorations, music, and the general hustle and bustle of the event Once the wedding duties are complete, we continue to care for the dog into the evening. This includes walking, toileting, feeding, and providing lots of cuddles to ensure they remain relaxed and happy. For some dogs, settling in can be a significant challenge that req...
