Here’s why we focus on caring for up to two small/medium dogs or 1 large breed per nanny! Our Purpose and Approach Wedding Day Dog Nanny was established with a clear purpose: to support the couple's dog on their special day. Our role encompasses helping the dog during the ceremony, assisting with ring-bearing duties, capturing stunning photos, and greeting guests. Before the ceremony, we help the dog acclimate to the new environment, which includes exposure to flowers, decorations, music, and the general hustle and bustle of the event Once the wedding duties are complete, we continue to care for the dog into the evening.  Our top 5 WDDN questions that are most asked by couples! Can we talk through our day beforehand? YES absolutely!  Approximately 10 weeks before your wedding day, I will send you booking forms to fill out. These forms cover all the details of your special day, including the schedule and, of course, your beloved dog's role. We'll inquire about your dog's preferences and aversions, their outfit, planned activities, feeding times, and any specific instructions for different parts of the day.  Once you've returned these forms, our dog nanny will arrange a video call with you, during this call, you'll thoroughly go over each aspect of the day, focusing on your dog's needs.  Our nanny will take meticulous notes and address any concerns, including contingency plans if your dog encounters difficulties with certain elements of the wedding Can you spend all day with my dog? Hovis, the most affectionate golden retriever, who stole the show at his parents wedding At just 22 months old, he was brimming with energy and excitement! In this blog, we'll share the heartwarming story of how we supported Hovis throughout his parents' special day. Hovis started the day being cared for by his Grandmother, who kindly took him on a stroll around the grounds for him to explore! after having a groom the day before he was looking and smelling so handsome .... that was until he decided to roll in mud!! His poor Granny had to shower him down and get him smelling sweet again!  When I arrived to take over his care in the morning we spent time getting to know each other in a relaxed manner, we wondered around the venue (On lead to avoid any more rolling!!) playing with his favourite toys in the accommodation and generally getting to know each other as we had only met that morning Hovis and I explored the ceremony room first...
